Congratulations to our Postgrads ...
Congratulations to Dr Fiona Leigh (PhD. Monash, 2007) and to Jill Craigie on their recent appointment to positions at King’s College London. Congratulations also to Angela Ballantyne (PhD. Monash, 2006) on her appointment to Yale University's Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics.
At the Australasian Postgraduate Philosophy Conference for 2008, Raphaël Fiorese was awarded an honourable mention (or equal second prize) for his paper "Events, Functional Reduction, and the Supervenience Argument. Kim Not Near Enough". Congratulations Raphael.
Dr Russell Blackford has been appointed as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Evolution and Technology, a refereed interdisciplinary journal devoted to issues relating to the future of humanity, and particularly the prospect of a new kind of evolution in which technology is used to alter human bodies and capacities. Congratulations to Russell.
