Human Rights Theory Units
Structuring a major or minor
To obtain a major in Human Rights Theory, students must complete eight units in total:
- A first year sequence, consisting of HRY1010 and HRY1020.
- At least four units from the list of core units.
- The remaining two units from the list of elective units.
- At least three units must be completed at 3rd year level.
To obtain a minor in Human Rights Theory, students must complete four units in total:
- A first year sequence, consisting of HRY1010 and HRY1020.
- At least two units from the list of core units.
Provisional list of units for Human Rights Theory
Because Human Rights Theory is a new area of study, the list of core and elective units at later years is still undergoing revision. The information below relating to later-year units is provisional only, to assist students in 2010 to get a sense of what units they will likely be able to study in later years.
