1.3 School Structure Within the Faculty of Arts
The Faculty of Arts is structured in disciplines that are grouped into Schools, with each having a Graduate Coordinator and a Graduate Administrator. These structures enhance inter-disciplinary cooperation in postgraduate research supervision and undergraduate teaching.
Teaching and research activities in the Faculty take place on six campuses: Caulfield, Clayton, Peninsula, Berwick, in the School of Humanities, Communications and Social Sciences at the Gippsland Campus, and at Monash University Malaysia.
The 'Postgraduate Handbook' details the School structures and lists all courses available in the Faculty of Arts (see the web site below for online version). A list of current Graduate Coordinators and Graduate Administrators of each School is also available online (see web address below). You need this information for administrative procedures that were previously handled on a departmental level.
