2.2 Tricks of the Trade: a Research Training Program
In response to research candidates' needs identified through research candidate evaluations and research, the Associate Dean (Graduate Research) in the Faculty of Arts developed a Research Training Program for PhD and Masters candidates. Seminars and workshops useful to early stage and continuing researchers run in semesters 1 and 2. The Research Training Program, Tricks of the Trade, encourages a supportive and interactive research culture with academic speakers active in research and research supervision.
The Faculty requires research candidates to attend at least three of these seminars in order to fulfil their candidature requirements.
