Chapter 4: Enrolment and Confirmation of Candidature
4.2 Research Training Scheme (RTS)
All research candidates who are Australian citizens or permanent residents may be exempt from tuition fees through the Research Training Scheme (RTS). RTS places will be allocated to research candidates' at the time of enrolment.
At the time of enrolment candidates will be required to complete a Research Training Scheme - Eligibility for Funding form available from the Arts Research Graduate School. Any period of candidature used in an incomplete research degree at the same level within the past three years will be deducted from the current period of candidature.
Candidates will hold the allocated RTS place for the period of the candidature, up to a maximum of two years of full time equivalent funding for research masters and four years for doctoral candidates.
