4.4 International Student Enrolment Visa Requirements
As a registered provider of education for International students Monash University is required by law to inform the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) of any changes to your enrolment or attendance, therefore, you must:
- Maintain a full-time enrolment at all times
- Maintain contact with your supervisors on a regular basis
- Contact your School or the Faculty if you are unable to attend the University for a period longer than two weeks
- Not return home without informing your School or the Faculty (you may be required to carry a letter of approval)
- Notify the Faculty, Monash International and DIMIA of any change to you address within 7 days
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ALSO NEED TO ENSURE THAT THEIR STUDENT VISA COVERS ANY EXTENSION GRANTED TO THEIR CANDIDATURE.
