Oral presentation: An oral presentation on the research project may be given either at a departmental/school seminar or on one of the school reporting days held on twice yearly basis. Members of the review panel should be in attendance. The oral presentation should explore the research undertaken to date and the anticipated directions of the research program.
Written submission: Candidates are required to supply a detailed written research proposal comprising material equivalent to 5,000 - 6,000 words including:

- review of literature
- bibliography
- timetable for completion
