Duration |
The maximum scholarship duration is one year. The scholarship must be commenced by 31 March of the year for which the offer is made and will conclude on 31 December of the same year. |

Eligibility |
Applicants who have applied for but narrowly missed out on APA or MGS will automatically be considered for this award. For full details of eligibility, please see the scholarship's Conditions of Award. |

How to Apply |
No direct application is required. Applicants for an APA and/or MGS will be automatically considered for a FARS in the same application round. The online scholarship application form will be available from 1 August 2009 and close at midnight (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on 31 October each year. Applicants who complete the online scholarship application form will be automatically considered for all postgraduate research scholarships for which they are eligible in the Faculty of Arts at Monash University. Successful awardees will be notified by post in mid-December each year. |
