Entry requirements

What do I need to apply for DoTS?

Unlike many other university courses, your DoTS application is based on more than just your Year 12 score, and takes into account your life experience, drive and desire to succeed at university. This makes DoTS a terrific option if you didn't get the ATAR you expected, or are looking to return to university as a TAFE graduate or an older student.

To apply, you need to have finished Year 12 with an ATAR of at least 50 and completed Units 3 and 4 in English with a study score of at least 25. Depending on the DoTS stream you want to study, there may be additional pre-requisites (as shown in the table below).

And finally, you'll need to complete a brief supplementary information form, telling us why you want to study at Monash.

Students who have completed Year 12 outside of Victoria should visit VTAC meeting prerequisites to find out how their interstate score is converted to the Victorian equivalent.

DoTS is also available for international students.
