Biography
Award-winning photographer Luke Plummer began work as a photojournalist in 2005 with the Star News Group in Victoria, which incorporates 23 newspapers including the Berwick News, Cranbourne News, Pakenham Gazette and Dandenong Star.
During his time with the Community Newspaper Group, Luke won four Victorian Country Press Awards including Best Sports Photograph in 2007 for his image of a footballer in flight and Best Photographic Study in 2009 for Welcome Swallows feeding.
Luke has also been the official photographer for the Red Cross Murray Marathon in 2007 and 2008 and again for the YMCA and VicSuper Murray Marathon in 2009 and 2010.
Since 2010, Luke has worked as a Freelance Photographer and specialises in sports photography, people/portraiture and the environment.
