Jo Lindsay is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology in the School of Political and Social Inquiry (PSI). Jo is also the Discipline Research Coordinator, and HDR Coordinator (with Mark Davis) for Sociology.

Research
Jo's research interests include gender relations, family diversity, sexuality, health, inequality and young people. Her work is informed by sociological, feminist and social action theories and her work uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her PhD thesis, completed in 1996, was entitled 'Coupling up: A study of heterosexual cohabitation' and her postdoctoral research was 'An investigation of health risks in the social lives of young workers'.
Jo is currently working on three major projects.
