Annual Symposium
In 2002 the Spanish and Latin American Studies Program organised an annual one-day symposium dedicated to exploring recent developments in the discipline of Spanish and Latin American Studies. The aim of the symposia is to bring together on a regular basis scholars working within Australasia and from further afield to engage with recent debates and developments within Spanish and Latin American Studies.
The symposium for 2006 is entitled "Revolutionary and Post-Revolutionary Cuba", and will be held on 23-24 November 2006. Papers are now being called for.
