Sex and Relationships Education: A Healthy Subject?

Sex and Relationships Education in Victorian schools is, according to the new Victorian Essential Learning Standards, to be delivered within the learning domain of Health and Physical Education. The aim of this collaborative Faculty of Arts/Education project is to examine the social, political and educational efficacy of this relationship between Sex and Health and Physical Education. It examines the extent to which the location of sexual knowledges within the confines of health discourses assists and/or compromises both the content and delivery of Sex Education.
